Prime Minister Keir Starmer meets Automated Analytics

Today, Prime Minister Keir Starmer met with Automated Analytics at an event announcing Government backing for the reopening of Doncaster Sheffield Airport.

On the landmark £30m investment Mark Taylor, CEO Automated Analytics said, “The significance of today’s announcement cannot be underestimated, from creating over 5,000 jobs to sending a clear signal to the world that Doncaster is open for business. My team discussed with the Prime Minister how this is just the start for Doncaster a city finally getting the attention and investment it deserves, and why becoming an AI Growth Zone will benefit the local and national economy.

There is a ‘secret sauce’ in Doncaster and South Yorkshire where nothing is impossible, and where collaboration is an instinctive way of working. This achievement would not have been possible without collaboration and I congratulate the many parties who have campaigned tirelessly to make this happen including City of Doncaster Council, Doncaster Chamber of Commerce, Business Doncaster, mAYOR Ros Jones, Sally Jameson MP for Doncaster Central, Rt Hon Ed Miliband Secretary of State for Energy and Climate Change and the campaign group ‘Save Doncaster Sheffield Airport’ to name a few.”
