Automated Analytics attends UKTN AI Safety Roundtable
Our CEO Mark Taylor was invited to attend a roundtable discussion hosted by UKTN to further the conversation on AI safety and regulation, following the summits held by the UK government. The event was sponsored by KPGM and Shoesmiths, and marked one year since the AI Safety Summit held at Bletchley Park in 2023.
A key focus of discussion was whether the UK should follow the EU AI Act and whether the sectoral approach – initially outlined by the previous government but generally maintained by the incumbents – was the best option. Read the discussion in full here.
Commenting on the event, Mark Taylor CEO said: “The UK needs robust policy, particularly surrounding ethical issues, to deliver transparency and trust which our new white paper revealed is key to helping business leaders, and their teams allay fears and uncertainty towards adopting AI.”
